Sherine Forrest
Sherine Forrest attended the University of The West Indies in Jamaica where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and International Relations. She then received her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London in 2006 and was called to the Bar in Jamaica in 2011.
In pursuit of new opportunities, Sherine made the bold decision to relocate to Canada, where she embarked on the process of requalifying as a lawyer. She successfully completed the Certificate of Qualification through the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, underscoring her dedication to mastering Canadian law.
Her legal journey in Canada led her to complete her articles with a prestigious law firm in downtown Oshawa, where she served as a standing agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada. During this formative period, Sherine demonstrated her versatility and dedication, gaining invaluable experience across various areas of law.
Sherine’s passion for Wills and Estates law grew during her time as a Wills and Estates Clerk, where she collaborated with lawyers in Oshawa and North York, assisting clients with compassion and expertise during sensitive times.
Today, Sherine Forrest is a respected member of the legal community, admitted to practice by the Law Society of Ontario and a member of the Durham Region Law Association. She has established herself as a formidable litigator known for fearlessly advocating for her clients in the courtroom.
